Terms and Conditions
All fees are due monthly in advance. Standing Orders or electronic payment are the favoured means of payment and can be set up on request. Alternatively we welcome payment by one of many nursery voucher schemes.
Fees are reviewed annually in July for The After School and Holiday Club and in September for the nursery.
Your placement, once confirmed is an ongoing placement and payment has to be made if your child does not attend through illness or holidays. This is the only way we can guarantee that your child can retain their place in the nursery.
Any payment made for which there is insufficient funds to meet and result in a charge to Smisby Day Nursery Limited will result in any additional charges being passed on to yourselves. We also reserve the right to charge additional charges for payments made which are late at a rate of £5.00 per day for each child and any discounts may be removed retrospectively for up to six months. This is necessary as our largest bill is our staff and we will NEVER pay our staff late for caring for your child—even if you pay us late. Your co-operation and understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Agreement between Nursery and Parents
We as a nursery recognise and value you the parents as the most knowledgeable people regarding your children. We therefore ask that you share that information with us to be able to offer the best extension of your childcare possible. You will be asked to make yourselves familiar with all our rules and policies and to agree to them.
We ask you to make payment of fees promptly when they are due as the running of the nursery is heavily dependant on them.
We would ask you to help us to keep accurate and up to date essential records on your children by informing us immediately if there are changes to addresses or phone numbers, or your child is unable to attend through illness or holiday.
We will always ensure that we employ appropriate experienced and qualified staff and work within all regulations and guidelines laid down by OfSTED and other statutory regulation bodies.
We will always keep you informed of your child's progress and information will be shared with you on a daily basis and by formal parents evenings and regular informative newsletters.
We welcome feedback from parents-both positive and negative. This enables us to monitor our performance as seen through the eyes of the parents and children and to make changes where necessary to improve the quality of service we deliver.
We will provide ongoing training to our staff in order to keep their skills current and relevant in a constantly evolving childcare profession.
