About Us: Fees

The nursery does not charge for Bank Holidays or for the period of closure over Christmas including Christmas Eve. If a family has two children in the Nursery there is a 10% discount for one child, usually the child that does the least hours at the Nursery if they are different. Families that have one child in the Nursery and one in Smizkids will get a 10% discount on the Smizkids Fees.

All fees are due monthly in advance. Standing Orders or electronic payment are the favoured means of payment and can be set up on request. We accept a broad range of childcare voucher schemes and would encourage all parents to use them where possible for the tax advantages they offer you. Penalty charges of £5.00 per day are levied for each child whose invoice is not paid in the month it is due and any discounts will be removed retrospectively for up to six months if payments are late.

Hours of Placement
We ask that you consider carefully the hours you will require when booking as we have a duty to maintain staffing ratios at all times, and this becomes difficult if children are here longer than the time recorded for them. If you require extra hours from time to time or are going to be late collecting your child please telephone or ask so that we can accommodate the alteration of hours.

Holidays
Once your child has a placement their fees must be paid throughout the year with the exception of bank holidays and any nursery closure. In case of serious illness or confinement in hospital, exceptions to normal payment agreements may be made.

Notice
One Months notice in writing is required if you wish to terminate your child’s placement. Alterations to placement may need less notice at the discretion of the Directors and may be done verbally.
