Hi my name is Lana and I am now a qualified Nurseery Officer here at Smisby Day Nursery after completing my Level 3 Childcare and Education at Burton and South Derbyshire College.

I actually used to come to Smisby Day Nursery from 6 months old to around 8 years old and was so pleased to come back again for my placement experience whilst training. Now I have a permanent job here. I have always wanted to work with children as I have a very caring nature and I love putting smiles on people's faces!

Smisby is such an incredible place and I can't wait to learn new things!

(Ed: The baby photo of Lana on the right is one taken of her in the Baby Room in 2007 to make a Christmas card for her Mum & Dad! We were so glad when you qualified and wanted to come back and work here at the Nursery.)
