Hi,

I started my working life in a residential school for children with additional needs and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges. I left when I had my first child as I wanted to be a full time Mother.

Two years later I had my second child who had a very traumatic birth, resulting in many medical and additional learning needs. I then became full time carer for my son and after having another child two years later I have spent the majority of my time being a full time carer and mother.

Throughout their childhood I was heavily involved in helping at their primary schools, running the Parent committee and helping in class and on school trips. I also spent 10 years volunteering as a cub scout leader, taking the cubs on many camps and adventures and helping them to achieve their badges and awards.

I am thoroughly enjoying my work in Smizkids and have now qualified as a level 3 practitioner.
