Notes
I was the eldest in my family and grew up with a younger sibling and younger cousins. I really enjoyed looking after them and knew from a young age I wanted to work with children in some way. When I left school I gained my level 2 in childcare and then went on to gain my level 3 in children’s play, learning and development. I also worked in a crèche whilst gaining this qualification.

Once qualified, I began working in a nursery and went into a few others from there. Last year was a busy year for me as I had my little boy and got married! I took a break from childcare and took part time roles working in care and then cleaning.

I have recently just bought my own house also and felt ready to go back to doing what I love. I’m really excited to be going back into childcare and gaining a job at Smisby. I feel even better knowing my son can come with me!
